Apricots and peaches will produce fruit over here perfectly. They blossom early, so can be susceptible to late frosts, but will produce juicy, tasty crops to pick in late Summer. Sweet Stella cherries, a long time favourite in supermarkets, are very easy, and produce bumper crops of deepest red fruits.

They are on dwarfing rootstocks, so will only reach 7-8ft in 10 years. They like a sunny spot, especially against a South facing wall or fence. They can also be grown in large pots of 35cm or more diameter.
